SDK essentials

Learn about the core features of the Auki SDK and our philosophy on spatial computing and privacy that underpins it.

The Auki SDK enables two core features:

  • Shared AR: multiple devices can see and interact with the same digital assets in the same precise physical locations, enabling truly social AR experiences with instant calibration.
  • Persistent AR: anchor digital information in their correct physical location with Posemesh domains so that they persist over time. Think of it as a digital real estate layer on top of a physical space.

For both shared and persistent AR, a positioning system much more precise than the GPS is needed. Unlike positioning services offered by big tech companies that rely on creating and maintaining a giant, centralized digital twin of the world, the posemesh is a protocol that creates smaller maps of private domains. This allows users and devices to privately exchange spatial data with the domain they are visiting or with peers in their area instead of with any centralized third party.
