Push the frontier of spatial computing and join the Auki team to build the future DePIN of AI perception.
Around 70% of the world's economy depends on people working in physical environments: stores, warehouses, factories, hospitals, ports, farms, and construction sites. While software has transformed office work, the physical economy still operates with fragmented information, manual coordination, and limited automation.
We believe the next technological revolution will happen there.
Auki is building the shared spatial infrastructure that allows people, robots, and AI to understand the same physical world and coordinate inside it. Our software creates a living, shared model of real environments that machines and humans can use to navigate, perceive, communicate, and work together.
Today, our technology powers physical AI deployments in retail. Tomorrow, the same foundation will extend across warehouses, logistics, manufacturing, and beyond.
Our plan is to scale from today's pilots to more than 1,000 robots deployed in 2027, and 100,000 robots and 1 million wearable devices by the end of 2030. We're looking for people who want to help build the software, infrastructure, and organization that makes that possible.
Why we're here
Artificial intelligence has become extraordinarily capable at reasoning about text, images, and code.
The next frontier is reasoning about reality.
Robots, wearable computers, autonomous vehicles, and AI assistants all need a common understanding of where things are, what is happening, and how their actions affect the people around them. We believe this shared understanding will become foundational infrastructure for the physical world.
Our mission is to increase civilization's intercognitive capacity: humanity's ability to think, experience, and solve problems together with each other and AI.
Every improvement in shared understanding reduces friction. Better coordination means less waste, safer workplaces, more productive economies, and entirely new ways for humans and intelligent machines to collaborate.
The problems you'll work on
No one has solved this stack yet.Depending on your role, you might work on:Spatial AI and world models
Robotics and autonomous systems
- Distributed systems and networking.
- Computer vision and perception.
- AR and human-computer interaction.
- Edge AI and real-time inference.
- Developer platforms and APIs.
- Enterprise software deployed at global scale.
Much of what we build has no established playbook. You'll often be working at the boundary between research and production.
How we work
We believe in autonomy, transparency, sincerity and responsibility. Everyone at Auki is either building something or selling something. There are no pure management positions, and you'll have no colleagues that aren't earning their keep by building the product or growing our customer base. Working at Auki means you've proven yourself independent and skilled enough to work in a high paced and dynamic environment without hand holding, and with radical freedom to get the job done.
That means:
- Small teams with significant ownership.
- Direct access to customers deploying cutting-edge AI.
- Fast iteration and rapid decision-making.
- Technical excellence over bureaucracy.
- Freedom paired with responsibility.
We care far more about curiosity, judgment, and execution than credentials. We believe the most valuable lessons are learned through passion and hardship, not through formal education - so feel free to apply with any background.
