Auki community update recap: Dec 19, 2025

2025 Year in Review: 7-Digit ARR, 2-Minute Deployments, and the Robotics Flywheel

2025 was the year the real world web moved from concept to commercial reality. We started the year unboxing our first Unitree G1 humanoid robot. We are ending it with 7-digit ARR, active paid pilots across 6,500+ retail locations, and the industry's leading robotics OEMs sending us their biggest enterprise leads.

Here is a look back at how we collapsed deployment friction and built the spatial foundation for physical AI.

From Hackathons to Commercial Scale

The commercial acceleration of Cactus—our spatial AI copilot for retail—has been staggering.

  • Crossing the 7-Digit Mark: We officially crossed 7-digit ARR this year, proving that AI copilots for physical work are highly commercially viable.
  • The North American Expansion: We launched our first paid pilot in the US with a Fortune 500 retailer. Our two biggest paying pilots are now in North America, representing a combined potential of $15 million ARR.
  • The Path to Profitability: We are aiming to secure the final signature on a massive multi-venue deal by December 29th. If executed as planned, Auki is on track to become a profitable company by the end of 2026.

The Perception-First Robotics Flywheel

The robotics industry has a brutal deployment problem. Sending teams of Forward Deployed Engineers to map stores for weeks destroys unit economics. In 2025, we proved that the real world web bypasses this completely.

  • Robot Deployment in 2 Minutes: In November, we demonstrated that a brand-new, out-of-the-box robot can be integrated into a store's spatial domain and application logic in under two minutes. “We don't need to send an engineer there.”
  • Autonomous Humanoid Navigation: By September, we were demonstrating large-scale autonomous navigation for humanoids in venues they had never previously visited.
  • App-Agnostic Orchestration: In October, we showed real-time spatial orchestration between Mentra smart glasses, a Unitree G1, and a Padbot—proving we are the connective tissue between heterogeneous devices.

The result? We are currently drafting our first large-scale LOI for hundreds to potentially thousands of robots.

As Nils put it: “One of the top three most famous robot companies shared two leads with us just in the last couple of days for some of the biggest retailers in all of Asia. The robot companies have gotten the memo: they can sell more robots with our software.”

Ecosystem and Infrastructure

Building the decentralized nervous system for AI requires a massive ecosystem. This year we laid the tracks:

  • Intercognitive Foundation: Founded alongside peaq, Geodnet, and Mawari, and joined by serial entrepreneur Rich Robinson to push the boundaries of spatial AI.
  • Open Source & Decentralization: We open-sourced our reconstruction node, launched the domain viewer, and bridged the $AUKI token to the peaq L1.
  • Level 10 Expansion: Our Hong Kong lab became a hub for physical AI, with Alpha AI (drone delivery) and Rice Robotics moving in to build directly on the real world web.
  • Technical Milestones: We expanded our SDK beyond Unity (C++, Swift, JS), launched decentralized VPS, and cracked multi-floor domain navigation.

2026 Will Make 2025 Look Like a Warm-Up

Momentum is building. Our pipeline is growing. Our suppliers, customers, and creditors are actively asking to invest in us. We have proven that starting with perception and collaborative spatial computing is the fastest, most scalable path to bringing AI into the physical world.

“2026 is going to make 2025 look like we were just warming up.”

About Auki

Auki is making the physical world accessible to AI by building the real world web: a way for robots and digital devices like smart glasses and phones to browse, navigate, and search physical locations.

70% of the world economy is still tied to physical locations and labor, so making the physical world accessible to AI represents a 3X increase in the TAM of AI in general. Auki's goal is to become the decentralized nervous system of AI in the physical world, providing collaborative spatial reasoning for the next 100bn devices on Earth and beyond.
