The Mindful Ocean Metaverse (MOM) is redefining how AR can serve a real world purpose. In response to the global ocean crisis, MOM has built an immersive, real world web mobile experience using domains — turning environmental engagement into repeatable, shareable gameplay, all powered by Auki.
They launched the first version of their Auki-powered app last March, which allowed users to turn any physical space into an ad hoc underwater experience complete with butterfly fish that users designed themselves and could interact with in AR via hand gestures. Upgrading to the real world web gave MOM another leap in technical capability:
This stack enables MOM to go beyond ad hoc demos. With the real world web, each AR space becomes a “living domain” where users return daily to complete real-world inspired missions.
MOM 1.1.0 introduces:
Each mission raises awareness through action, with AR spaces grounded in Auki’s spatial computing protocol.
To celebrate this release, MOM is launching the Rainbow Domain Challenge (Nov 27, 2025 – Jan 31, 2026), where players can color and mint marine NFTs, participate in domain-enabled gameplay, and earn AUKI token rewards as well as special collectibles.
In addition to the standard event rewards, all Auki community participants will receive an exclusive bonus NFT, on top of the regular event NFT — as a special token of appreciation for supporting both spatial computing innovation and ocean conservation awareness.
👉 Explore the MOM app now via the Official Website or download it on the App Store (note: only available on iOS).
Mindful Ocean Metaverse is a community art project with a mission to save our ocean. They use blockchain, AI, and AR technology to empower anyone to take part in ocean conservation by making art. Their NFT art creation events nurture mindfulness and promote creativity, enabling anyone to easily create NFT artworks that simulate marine life in a co-created virtual space - the Mindful Ocean Metaverse. Their goals include encouraging more people to make art, exploring the use of Web3 for social changes, and supporting conservationists by cultivating empathy.

Auki is making the physical world accessible to AI by building the real world web: a way for robots and digital devices like smart glasses and phones to browse, navigate, and search physical locations.
70% of the world economy is still tied to physical locations and labor, so making the physical world accessible to AI represents a 3X increase in the TAM of AI in general. Auki's goal is to become the decentralized nervous system of AI in the physical world, providing collaborative spatial reasoning for the next 100bn devices on Earth and beyond.
