Good morning from San Francisco. Following CES, the networking and deal-making have continued at breakneck speed. From deep-dive strategy sessions with robotics OEMs to an upcoming closed-door event with the biggest names in venture capital, it is clear that Auki's strategy is turning heads.
Here is what we’ve been up to this week in Silicon Valley and back in the Hong Kong lab.
We kicked off the week meeting with the World AI Eyewear Alliance, an organization formed by the biggest smart glasses OEMs to drive spatial standards. Nils brought along Caden, CEO of Mentra (an Auki ecosystem partner), to discuss the future of spatial computing and AI glasses.
The conversation was phenomenal. Our perspective on the future of spatial computing was highly influential, and it is very likely that Auki will officially join the Alliance. We expect to have a massive opportunity to shape the smart glasses space this year.
Throughout the week, Nils met with numerous robotics OEMs and influential analysts, including a fantastic six-hour sit-down with Jacob Rintamaki. The feedback we are getting on the ground validates everything we have been building.
There is a growing consensus in Silicon Valley that Auki's approach is entirely unique. As Nils put it: "A joke we kept hearing last week was that, oh my God, Auki is the only robotics company with an actual business plan."
To capitalize on this momentum, we are hosting a highly exclusive, closed-door event this coming Monday in San Francisco. With almost 30 confirmed attendees—including some of the biggest names in VC and founders of top AI companies—we will be discussing the unfiltered state of physical AI, hardware, software, and the realities of the market.
Next week, Nils is flying out to sit down with two Fortune 500 companies that have already been actively piloting our software.
Back in the lab, the technical progress continues to accelerate.
There is a growing fan base in Silicon Valley that believes Auki is going to be the first robotics company to reach $100 million (or even $1 billion) in recurring revenue. We are focused on making that a reality.
If you want to hear the off-the-record gossip and NDA updates that we don't share publicly, make sure to join the AMA sessions after the stream on Discord.
Auki is making the physical world accessible to AI by building the real world web: a way for robots and digital devices like smart glasses and phones to browse, navigate, and search physical locations.
70% of the world economy is still tied to physical locations and labor, so making the physical world accessible to AI represents a 3X increase in the TAM of AI in general. Auki's goal is to become the decentralized nervous system of AI in the physical world, providing collaborative spatial reasoning for the next 100bn devices on Earth and beyond.
